Collection and Distribution of Information
When you fill out forms on the web site, we collect the information you entered into the forms (i.e. names, addresses, telephone numbers, comments). This is shared with agents who will handle your request. We also record your IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection and reduction.
We do not otherwise sell, trade or transfer your personally identifiable information to other parties unless compelled to do so by law.
What Date we Routinely Collect and Why
Like all modern web sites, when you visit our site, your IP address, browser type, referring and exit pages, computer type and date stamp are captured. These are aggregated with other data for the sole purpose of statistical analysis of web site usage.
Our web site may use cookie and tracking technology depending on the features offered. Personal information is not collected via cookies and other tracking technology.
On pages where you are allowed to leave comments, if you do leave such a comment, you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and web site in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account on this web site, and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days and screen options last for one year. If you select “Remember Me,” your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after one day.
On pages where comments are allowed, when visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. The visible comment is retained, publicly viewable, indefinitely.
Your personally identifiable information is kept secure. Data is protected by password. Only authorized employees, agents and contractors (who have agreed to keep information secure and confidential) have access to this information.
While we take security seriously software failures may occur and you should take your own precautions. For instance, you should not use the same username/password combination here as on other sites.
